October fun!!

Can you believe it's nearing the end of October? Where does the time go? We have had so much fun doing Halloween activities all month. We also had a great time at Pumpkin Land! We were happy to see so many parents come enjoy it as well! Don't forget on October 31st (Halloween Day) we will be trick-or-treating around the high school! So bring your child dressed in their costume at 9:15! This is for ALL of the kids (including the 3 year old class). It is going to be so much fun. If you have questions just ask Miss Kim or Miss Marissa!

I don't have many pictures from the 4 year old class. Hopefully we will get more in the future. Here are a few from our feildtrip! 

Our three year old class had a lot of fun at Pumpkin Land. Most of our kids had never been on a bus before so that was exciting too! At Pumpkin Land we went through a corn maze, saw a lot of different animals, played on the playground, went into a "spooky" light house, and got a pumpkin! It was a lot of fun. 

Some of our preschool activities have been focused on simple counting, patterns, colors, as well as letter number and recognition. We have finished letters A, B, C, and D. We will continue to review these as we move along. We love pointing out things that start with these letter and what sounds they make! 

We have also had fun doing different Halloween art projects!

We exercised our fine motor skills by using tweezers to sort Bugs in our sensory bin! The kids loved this! 

We had fun lacing leaves and the letter B!! 

We had fun putting Halloween puzzles together

We practiced counting, using dice! They loved rolling the dice. 

We had a sensory project using real pumpkin seeds!! 

We had a ghost walk while listening to Halloween music! 

We love playing outside while the weather is nice!

We made pumpkin faces to hang in the hall! 

We practiced counting with a fun pumpkin memory game!!
